I need to make more time in my day for just breathing.

eyes closed
standing still
breathing in
and
out.

crowd of people
rushing by
I’m just standing
breathing in
and
out.

I go unnoticed
no one cares
I’m bumped
and cursed
“stupid
stupid
girl.”

no one cares
how hard it is
for me to close
my eyes
and breathe
in
and
out.
