His betrayal led me to the brink of destruction.

Walking down the memory lane,
With faded light kissing the pane,
Flashes my love like the dim light,
A love that has turned so fatal,
Being marked by your betrayal,
My sincere love tainted with blight,
Flames of sorrow in my heart burn,
My tribulation shared by none,
I fight back tears with all my  might!
