First Love

Loving and loosing, my experiance.

The first time I looked into your eyes I felt it,
Though I didn’t understand it then,
I was so wholly and completely lost,
Lost in you like some great sea of dreams.

Then I hurt you I think,
Not with anything I did or said,
But with all those things I felt,
And couldn’t seem to put to words,
I understand that now,
Even though I was ignorant of it when you walked away,
And acted the angry fool not understanding why.

Looking into your eyes now knowing that,
I understand what I felt then,
What I feel now,
And I know it’s too late for that to matter,
But I need to say the words,
I need you to know even if it won’t change anything.

I love you with whole of heart and soul,
I always have,
And always will.
