Another rescued dog (Her name is Grace)

I remember getting my pets at the pound;
rescued from amid condemned animal cages.
Row by row abandoned, noises surround;
I remember getting my pets at the pound,
some discontent, and some pleasure found.
Sad is the fate of dogs and cats of all ages.
