Mother

This Poem Represents what children all over Go through on a daily Basis

The mother gives birth to the child

but doesnt want her to stay

The child reaches for the mother

but the mother pushes the child away

The child is hurt cause she doesnt understand

how the mother could hate her

but love the man

the man who climbs into her bed at night

and does the things that dont feel right

The child begs the mother to make it end

the mother says she will but the child is hurt again

The child looks at the mother and wonders why

The mother looks past the child

so the child continues to die

The child looks toward the future

and continues to fight

she clenches her fist

cause she cant sleep at night
