Friendship is a bright blue locker
opened to reveal itself
full of smiling and
laughing faces

Friendship is laughter
echoing from the cafeteria
as kid's finish their
lunches

Friendship is
a bag of Skittles
shared on
the long bus ride home.

Friendship is the ecstatic puppy
jumping up and down
as you open the door
waiting to welcome you home.
