poem I wrote for my wife

SHE

she is my breath
without her I have none
transfixed by the blueness of her eyes
her kindness,like a blanket covers me
keeping me warm
her smile lets me know
it is safe to be me
the gentleness of her being
satisfies my knowing
I am not empty when she is gone
comforted by her touch
relaxed by her gaze
calmed when I am crazed
her whisper stops the storm
her laugh makes the sunshine
forever she will be mine
she is my breath
without her I have none
