A WRITER'S CRAMP-based acrostic fibonacci (Monthly Acrostic Poetry Contest Rd. 25). |
| Cramped Thoughts Thought Hard. Enough! What Rot I've wrought, Totally Empty of meaning. Rhyme and reason escape my grasp, Save for disjointed snippets of nearly lucid prose. Could Rest Avail Me I would, Perhaps, take some sleep. + + + + + A Fibonacci poem (or Fib) is a multiple-line verse based on the Fibonacci sequence so that the number of syllables (or words) in each line equals the total number of syllables in the preceding two lines. The Fibonacci sequence begins with either zero or one [I started this poem with one], is followed by one, and proceeds to the next number by adding the preceding two numbers. |
