Reincarnation

Loved. Hurt. Gave up. Its time to believe again.

I wish and wish upon the stars that night
To shine on my heart, a really bright light

They grant me the wish, at least a part
The rest is up to the strength of my heart

I’ve been given a chance to be human again
To experience love and its accompanying pain

But I will continue to look up, close my eyes and pray
That I’ll be strong enough to go all the way
