A poem about trusting natures example that wounds heal & things change |
| Light spills over the horizon In shimmering rifts; it breaks the platinum cape All the sunflowers gently rock their heads They know, We are as Blossom is to Spring The hills are drunk, they sleep in pastel brume Pleats of pink haze tumbling down their slopes Letting all the willows weep They know, Hope is Something out of Silence Ivory skies embrace the cherry kiss Clouds slide away On dawn's hearth, on warm promise They know, This will be a Better Day My darling, your eyes are open now Young and wide like fertile valleys Holding me, as a quiet ocean holds the Sun They know, You can Love again |
