Whispers

In the darkness of the night
Standing there so bright
Shined like a candle
Face was like an angel

Standing in the shadows
Eyes with an afterglow
My heart filled with sorrow
As we never knew tomorrow

My whisper in your ears
Took out all of your fears
Though our love was never true
I kept my heart open for you
