I took a walk and embraced what the silence offered.

Feet behind, mocking my cadence, like a silent shadow.
Feeling the unseen presence, with an odd absence of fear.
Forgotten inhibitions replaced by comforting chills.
Fire ignites my long-deadened soul, reviving senses of old.

He joins the journey, seeking resolve - a small step behind.
Human or spirit, becoming a part of me I’ve lost.
Haunting thoughts stripped away, now free to embrace the unknown.
“Hush, listen to quiet possibilities calling you.”

No fog on horizon, hiding a forgotten forest.
Nameless partner providing wisdom to my open heart.
Nearing the end, footsteps fading with mine, yet strength still grows.
Ne’er seeing, ever believing, I walked with an Angel.
