I can't do WHAT?

A poem on achieving dreams despite the world's expectations being against you.

I learnt a lot when I wandered through life,
Throughout time I was told not to give up without a fight.
Even when the weight of the world crushes your emotions,
This is the worst time possible to give up on devotions.

Now that I stand tall, with pride and purpose,
I understand why others aren’t able to hurt us.
Whenever you believe that tomorrow’s dreams are unreal,
Remember its only when you fight is then the pain will heal.
