about opening up and trusting someone

he says i need to open up and let him in
but then wont my world cave in
to give him a dose of my emotions
is to conjure a black hole to consume me
why do you think i create these bricks
i have spent countless nights layering them
one by one so nothing can seep through
without my conscious permission
all of the sudden i am supposed
to expose myself
naked with all my desires and insecurities
who will love me that way?
