Misty Rain

Cloudy and gloomy sky, blue and gray and white rain

Cloudy and gloomy sky,
blue and gray and white rain
streams down in a light mist
spraying the world over;
Sprinkling gentle tears and
crying down to all a soulful
song that washes and rinses
our pain away.
When the rain cries
teardrops on our lonely,
disheveled spirits, we mend
the emptiness for today and
hug our loneliness for tomorrow
we can only hope it rains again.
