Your heart gave a warning of pain
We were both washed away on a new path,
Sleepless nights, lonely days waiting
Worrying, if you will ever be well again.

A single velvet petal falls to the floor
As a tear would fall in my heart,
The empty house is unbearable
But I cannot cry with pity any more.

I am positive, negative, with anguish I burn
As each day passes slowly by,
I pray into the night, hoping I am heard
Pleading for your life and safe return.
