Her heart wrung out by deception,
She blames him for her destruction,
Being made a prey of fake love,
Beguiled by his mask from above.

Promises broken on that day,
Her colorful world turned to gray,
Shards of her torn heart pierce a hole,
Bleeds uncontrollably, her soul.

Time passes by and rolls to years,
That deep wound fails to dry her tears.
"Time will heal your scars", says her Mom.
Her eyes catch a guy at the prom.

His good looks and bewitching smile,
Pulls her in a trance for awhile.
Memories of the past jolt her,
She pledges to herself, "Never!"

With a shower of joy he comes
And his life partner she becomes.
A boy and a girl, she gives birth.
Her life is now filled with complete mirth.
