Inspired by Ogden Nash.
As I walked into the zoo
I ran into a stray cuckoo
Who'd lost control of his two wings
And now kept flying into things

"I just crashed with a kite, and boy
what once was, is no more a toy
It fell straight into Lion's den
and yes, my head aches yet again!"

After that the wings went ape
His eyes told me there's no escape
The helpless, black-eyed aviator
rushed to the air, screamed "Catch you later!"
His flight path did not go as planned
He made the hometown marching band
(the bass drum, to be precise)
