This is a poem I wrote about a conversation I had with my crush.

Eyes Wide
Shoulders Relaxed
Smiling Brightly
And Laughing
I care about what you say.
Surveying the room,
I`m the only one paying attention, really.
But I don`t care, and I don`t think that you do, either.
The spotlight is on you,
And I`m your audience.
We laugh together
Just living in the moment.
Everyone looks at you
And shakes their head, slowly
But they don`t understand you like I do.
Your beautiful, deep eyes…
Your contagious smile…
And your happiness.
Oh, I don`t see
How I`m the only one who realizes how special you are.
You walk in the room,
And my eyes follow you
Even if everyone else is just talking
I`m having a conversation
And it`s the best part of my day.
