A Shadow

This is my life, the way I feel when I open my eyes

A shadow, that is all that is left of my former self.
Of the girl who used to laugh and sing,
Of the girl who used to love life.
For now I am nothing but darkness, I am nothing but pain.
Like a shadow I hide in a blanket of darkness, Iam burned by the life,
and cooled by death.
I am now and forever will be a shadow of my former self.
