i am poem not something im proud of but i just wrote it out of no where

I am
I am young and lost in so many ways
In fear of losing anyone close to me
And afraid to gain someone I will love

I am a daughter
Mad at her dad for so many things
Afraid she has lost respect for her father
And all at the same time so afraid
Of losing him.

I am a baby sister
Who prays for her brother’s survival in the world.
Afraid of his future more than he is
Even though it should be the other way around

I am deep
Thinking about who I want to be
Ten years from now
Planning on the perfect one to
Spend my life with

I am an animal lover
Who would die for her pet
In a heart beat
Because who else would
Probably no one

I am one who has respect for others
But also for myself.
I have standards and will not let myself
Fall for someone else’s faults.

I am confused
Watching as life just gets
Faster
And
Faster
Waiting for the day that it will slow down.
