Downing

a poem about drowning and dying

down under the water

the sparkling dark wonder

where in the depths in slumber

a mighty monster waits in wonder

wonder if some unfortunate bum

be falling under

under into the deep dark wonder

but yet all is still set in

wonder while i ponder

for the kiss of death that will leave

me in eternal slumber

down way down under in eternal slumber

the mighty monster waits still in wonder

for if he does not wonder then he will also

fall into deep deep slumber.

the freezing cold

red blood flowing under

the death sinking deeper

and now i sink deeper and deeper

while i wait in slumber as

I'm falling under into the deep, deep

slumber.......

till i have kissed my death

I'm falling under into the deep, deep

SLUMBER...........
