As always.

He whispers static noise
into my ears
and the gloomy words
echo there.
He says empty nothings
but what he doesn't say
is what I remember.
When he leaves the
silence is loud
but the meaning there hangs
like a cloud
around my mind.
I think he was
trying to say he
loved me?
