Colours

This is something that is quite close to my heart...please do review and rate

Purple rain in the golden sky
You give me hope even in the worst of times
Orange trees in the blue savannah
You let me know it’s all going to be okay soon

Oh, aren’t we all colour-blind
Seeing the same black everywhere?
Or... are we just plain blind
Refusing to see the world for what it truly is?

Green sun over the pink mountains,
You make me dream a whole new dream every time
Red rocks in the yellow grass
You make me fly across the open sky

Oh, isn’t it somehow sad
That some things never change?
Or... are we the sad ones
For not bringing about the change

Open my eyes open my ears
I want to see, I want to hear
Be part of the world
Have something to die for

Maroon seas and the blue-green earth
Silver sun and the golden moon
Give me hope and give me life
Let me see what you really are

If colours can change
Then people can too
Just let me know if there can be a whole new world...
