Success

Not everyone will agree with this, but then why should you?!

I took a step towards success
Expecting fame and instant progress
But how I was deceived
By the welcome that I received
In the competition
People forgot compassion
Amidst the tenacity
They lost their individuality
And so my wisdom grew
And I immediately knew
That I should not be torn
Between the world's expectation and my own
