I beg of you Father, to take
away all this anger and hate.
I ask you to wipe away tears
and to make them dissipate.

I beg of you to allow the sun
back into my blackened sky.
I beg of you to help me sleep,
allow me to breathe, as I lie.

Grant me with the strength
and courage to forgive him.
Shower me in waters of life
gifting seas that I can swim.

***

Don't let the sadness drown
me in an ocean of darkness.
Allow me to drift off to sleep
on the shoals of forgiveness.

***

Reach me these few things.
Regenerate the life in my eyes.
Gift me with your path of light!
Let him lead me to your skies!
