This is a poem about my father and his faith in God. |
| Daddy is a gentle and caring man. Upon him I have learned to depend. All of Heaven at attention stands when Daddy bows his head. No fancy words does he speak No anthems of self praise will he proclaim Just humble words in Jesus name. I know God listens as my daddy prays. Just a humble country boy, A simple man is he But he enters the throne room of royalty the moment he bows his knees. Oh to be such a humble servant I hope to be For praying is what Daddy taught me. |
