You feel like dragging in those laughing outside

You are jealous to see people smile and succeed

You wish that they should also face the defeat.



But on glancing deep inside, you'll realize

Beside that devil is sitting a God's angel

Who warns you every time

Before committing the crime

Of giving yourself in the hands of evil

And fearing from the power so divine.



Someone holds you back

When you want to drag

People so gaily, People so content

Into the world of hatred and resentment

So that they also see the sorrow

And feel the pain that you have felt.



Someone touches you from inside

Shows you the ugly face of your selfish appetite

He makes you understand the depth of contentment

Which comes only from being happy with others

And lessening other's resentment.



Angel and devil both reside in us

It is for us to decide

Who to let us control

Angel's silence or devil's roar.
