New life flows
Through callous old veins
My fickle heart
Beats again

Fear rushes to my brain
Memories of the past
Last time I felt this
Pain flowed fast

My arms wrap around her
Her lips touch my skin
Breath comes anew
Forgiven for past sins

My love life
Whose health was so poor
Leaves its death bed
Reviving its once vibrant core
