Peacefully Sleep

A bedtime prayer for a devoted pagan/wiccan

I call upon the gods and goddesses that be
To watch over and protect me,
To guide me on the path of life,
To save from sorrow and strife,
And lead me to the way of light.

In the name of all that breathes
Out nightmares and in sweet dreams,
Caught and sewn between the seams
Of forgotten times and memories,
May I always peacefully sleep.

And may you always
Blessed, blessed be.
We go in peace –
So mote it be.
