Treat Me This Way

Take me as I am today
For it took many experiences to get me this way

I went through life with no grudges, chips on my shoulders or anger toward anyone
Yes I can honesty say in this I won

Now you come along and want to change me, fitting a different mold
These things aren't me haven't you been told

The world is about differences get through your pain
God forbid if we were all the same

Take me as I am
And I will you, for I am
