Ch. 1
I was sitting in my black Chevy pickup when I heard another truck coming up behind mine, off in the distance. No one ever came to this neck of the woods. i looked up to see a girl step out of a black jacked up Chevy S10. She flipped her head over and brushed her hair into a sloppy bun. Glancing over at my truck she went into the barn that lay hidden by trees.
*Odd* i thought *Whats a pretty girl like her doing out here?*
*What's a hot guy like you doing you doing out here?* she asked me silently.
I jumped hitting my head on the cab's roof. "Ow, dammit! What the flip?" *How'd you do that?*
"How'd you hear me?* she laughed, the sound sweet. *VAMPIRE,duhh.*
*oh. You new 'round hear?*
*Yeah. Sorry 'bout the head.*
I rubbed it. *it's okay. What's your name?*
