My Venus

A poem about a girl who's absolutely perfect in every way.

Her life’s story is carved into her arms
A beautiful girl, with interesting charms
She doesn’t think highly of herself
Holding the confidence of someone else
She does what she has to, to get through the day
Knowing full well, pain is just a step away
She doesn’t like the taste of her cigarettes steam
But she cuts the filters and inhales that sweet nicotine
She’s more interesting then you could ever be to me
