An  American Warrior

From Bunker Hill to Afghanistan
I fought for the freedom of every living man
I am a soldier, sailor, airman, or marine
You’ll never understand what my eyes have seen

I fight and fight until the battle’s won
I can’t come home until my job is done
Sleep well tonight, you know your country’s free
Remember though, it’s because of those like me
