A POEM ABOUT MY SHAMEFUL PAST |
| MY PAST Like a painful thumb it always stick out Making me feel anxious Troubled to face the imminent As a nursing mother Mime several assonance To rock her crying child to snooze Countless techniques I have devised Hoping to see you keep mute But to no reward Like a shadow you’ve always trail my route Innumerable I shocked my body formation Optimistic to see you fall off The future am always scared to face Knowing justly that You will shape it Kaleidoscopically, I bring them into my minds eye Hoping to make changes But to no avail Instead I discover new lessons Given me the intuition you've taken residence in me I now know I cannot change you Nor denial you Cause you’ve become a part of me And everyone have you lucked deep down there heart Like a book Save from there folks.
