Goodbye For Now

the death of a loved one

It will never be easy,
Now your gone forever,
Nothing can please me,
Now we are not together,

This situation so sudden,
So unexpected,
They’ve tried to explain this,
But I can’t understand it,

Sometimes I can feel you,
Feel that you are near,
But I crumble away,
When you do not appear,

You were the only one,
Who ever knew me this well,
The only one I could count on,
To pick me up when I fell,

A future without you,
A past I can’t forget,
I knew we were meant for each other,
The first time that we met,

I’ll be thinking of you,
Until the day that I die,
And  we’ll be together once more,
But for now, its ‘Goodbye’.
