Loss of self.

I fell into the Darkness Sea
To never rise again
Slipped beneath those shadowed waves
And let the darkness win
I gave myself into the cold
Let myself begin to drift
I should have fought to stay afloat
Instead the waters swift
Pulled me under, deep below.
