Allow me to dream

Allow a man to dream, searching deep within himself...

Allowing this river to run deep within me, to a destined world of envy
Drowning on this lonely road with no real place to go.
Remembering this path I've taken,
Walking towards this life I'm making.
Gripping this old guitar within my hand,
Desperately trying to forget these grains of sand.
Will you remember the silence, within this world of innocence.
Where hearts are felt, and tears are held.
Drifting off with words unsaid,
To this longer journey not yet led.
Taking it all, allow me to fall
Leading me to whom ever calls.
Accepting this fair embrace,
Countless times I'll have to face.
Promised to reminisce,
My restoration of solace.
