What in the Sam Hill is a muse?

Is it something you use?

How do you lose a muse,

if it was on a noose?

Any clues?

An animal it must be.

Tied to a tree.

Then it gets loose,

and it’s set free.

I deduce it's a moose.

It must roam around,

all over town.

Now just simmer down.

Where did it go?

Do you have any clues?

Did it take a hike?

What does it look like?

Can it ride a bike?

How bout a trike?

Now it's back,

after a snack?

Now I’m amused,

and confused.

What in the #@*% is a muse?
