With You Always

I wrote this poem for a very good friend of mine that died of cancer .

The brightest star
That's where I'll be
With you always
I'll never leave
If life decides
It's time to go
I leave my love
With you to grow
Don't be sad
I'm still here
With you always
Have no fear
When you get lonely
And don't know why
Remember my love
And look to the sky
There I'll be
Shining bright
To give you comfort
All through the night
