This is the first poem I've ever written i just want to know what others think about it.

Know

When I first met you, my darling
It was a meeting of chance
I toy myself with the idea of fate’s intervention
I saw something in you on that blissful day
Something within you captivating me
Bringing down my guard

As if Aphrodite herself took hold
Opened my heart and let it unfold
Like the petals of a flower accepting the suns warm embrace
I have fallen for you harder than I knew hearts could fall

You brought me life
Brought me everything I could ever ask for
Which is and always has been you, my sweet

I wanted to let you know
If you ever wonder why I don’t know what I might say
Just know that I will keep falling for you
Each and every day I continue falling forever lost in your embrace

Know that my feelings will never change
Know they are felt with all my heart
Know my feelings are true
Just know this one little thing
