An inspirational limerick form poem (my only limerick) |
| Devil's Boat At The Dock We went to church today And heard the preacher say If you get on board You're the devil's ward You will make the devil's day At the dock is the devil's boat It may or may not float When it sails away The saved will stay Its cargo is the unsaved bloak On board that boat you may be If your errors you cannot see Christians who are true Far country's not for you Stay ashore as the devil goes to sea The devil waves his 'Board now' sign Bright and flashy; it's his own design If his sign gets one A soul the devil has won Turn to god; leave the devil behind |
