|Trojan Women The Musical
I have taken part in many school productions but have never been to watch one myself, so I decided to take this opportunity in being part of the audience instead of on the stage, to see the different techniques actors use and the way they present themselves on stage in many artistic ways.
The music, lighting, speech and dance were incredible! The people performing brought out the meaning in such a beautiful way that i felt as if i were part of the tragic story. The grief, anger and humiliation was brought out so meaningfully that you get the feeling as if those actors on the stage are actually the real people from the story because of the amount of time and effort they have spent learning their lines, rehearsing and bringing together such a fabulous performance.
The music was professionally composed and played, which i thought was played at the right time and in the right moments. The lighting and technical team made an excellent job at taking the audience’s attention to specific people on stage and the sound management very good. The dancing was superb and in time with the music and made the performance more fun and entertaining to watch.
The only thing that i would say could be improved could be the costume, which was very good, but if trying to make the production even better, could be thought about a bit more and given more attention to in finding something that actually fits with the Ancient Greek time in which the story is set in.
