strength to carry on
drain the pain away
this won't take long

take me to the shadows
cover the windows
shelter me , take me
break me into a million pieces

put me together slowly
the one who truly knows me
exactly what it takes
what makes me shake

forgive me, I just need to forget
the existence that pains me yet
fill the void, deaden the memories
in the gray it carries

pain and pleasure in equal measure
