SPEAK LOW

Speak low when you speak of your dreams, your goals
For if they are known, someone may try to block your way;
Speak low when you speak of your loved ones, your friends
For if they are known, someone may harm them in some way;
Speak low when you speak of your heart, loves,feelings
For if they are known, they may be used against you;
Speak low when you speak of your fears, your guilt, of feeling ashamed
For if they are known, the world may hold them against you.

But SPEAK! So that others may know that they are not alone,
Though they too - speak low.
