You and I, fellow writer, have experienced this at some point: Writer's Block!

Dazed and Confused
She gazes into the void
With eyes that tell nothing
With eyes devoid of seeing

Elusive and Distant
No words to express seem right
No thoughts she can seem to grasp
No muse that seem to last

Oblivious and Uncertain
It drives her insane
She begins to doubt her skill
Has the writer lost her will?

No gentleness strikes the chord
No demons thrust by the sword
No darkness torn by the light
No sparrows that take flight

For the writer dropped her weapon
And drowned in her frustration
She is slipping – faltering
How will she keep on standing?

Hoping and Trying
The writer keeps on struggling
So she gives her pen a swish
And thus gave birth to this
