Written the day after the tragic Tsunami in Thailand. Not finished, suggestions welcome!
Soldier on, there's nothing we can do here
Broken dreams let fall a silent tear

Tattered palms reflect a get-away
But in half-mast, remember only yesterday

There's no compare, a tide to break a bay
Whence upon a time, only came to play

And seems so still, the sorry lap unto the shore
Perhaps regrets the view before it, weary and worn

And shades of gray, sometimes on the land light is splayed
The new mechanics of a hopeful town trying to find their way
