From Houses to the mind, What really goes on during any day.
Place of Nothing
Amy Boudwine

House creaks in the dead of night,
Whispering, swooshing, pitter patter,
The mice are heading somewhere,
Mind plays over and over,
What will happen tomorrow?
Was that paper due today,
What will happen in the future?

Nothing productive ever works,
Easily distracted,
In a world revolving,
Everything is transparent,
Not easily deciphered,
Until the head touches the pillow.

Together in class,
Never cease to talk,
100 holes in one tile,
24 people in the class,
20 posters along the wall,
My mind wonders…..
WHY.
