"Well, Dad?" she asked.

"You've never looked more beautiful, sweetheart."  He turned to the other nervous teen.

"Remember: my little girl looks just like this when she gets home, or I'll need a new baseball bat.  Have fun."

In the car, the boy asked, "He's kidding, right?"

"Ask the first boy who whistled at me."
