The Raging Storm

Poem about an abusive relationship.

Clouds like bruises
Battle in the sky
Colliding with one another

while the sun quivers
Cowering meekly
Hiding from it all

Then each painful jab
Makes its mark
Flashing pain across the sky

as seething anger
Rumbles with fury
Vibrating to the core

the sky opens
To release its agony
in torrents of coursing tears

that the wind whips
Tumbles and pelts 
Stabbing all beneath it
